Sailing on the Loosdrechtse Plassen

It's the perfect destination to fully unwind for a day, weekend, or even a week. Our park is surrounded by water and is connected to the Loosdrechtse Plassen. There is plenty to do and explore in the area. You can rent a boat or dinghy and go on an adventure. That's how you find the most beautiful spots in and around these beautiful lakes.

Besides sailing to one of the islands in the Loosdrechtse Plassen, there are many more locations to visit by boat. You could for example sail to the river De Vecht. Sailing over De Vecht is truly special. The remarkable old villas, many of which have a beautiful authentic teahouse, are a true treat to the eye.

You can also sail to the Vinkeveense Plassen, or even to the IJsselmeer through the IJmeer and Markermeer. In any case, you'll have the most beautiful views during your boat adventure.

Over the years, five recreational islands have been constructed in the middle of the Loosdrechtse Plassen: Markus Pos, Meent, Geitekaai, Weer and Bijltje. These islands have all the amenities you need to spend a wonderful day there. Moor at your favorite island and enjoy a picnic while the kids can play on the beach.
